Does it make me a cheapskate if I buy this instead of a normal iPod?

Actually I had a creative mp3 player a while back and it could play movies on it before iPod ever could. No it doesn't make you a cheapskate...iPod's are ridiculously over-priced now, they practically give other mp3 players away.
