What official doents (ID's, licenses, permits, etc) do I need to start a business in Minnesota?

I am trying to start a cards & collectibles (WPN) in Richfield. I have researched many websites, and have asked a few local courthouses to help me out. None (and I mean none) have been able to help me out, or point me to someone who can. I found later, that I should seek the Secretary of State MN. That helped a little. But I'd like to ask you, the current business owner, all that I need to start effectively. Thanks!
