What is conjunction of planets in a horoscope?

When two or more planets are within 8degrees of each other in a chart. Such as Moon 4'Cancer36" and Ur 5'Cancer22" are i degree apart so they are conjunct. Or Venus 28'Gemini18" and Moon 4'Cancer36", are also conjunct even though they are in different signs they are still close enough to be conjunct. And also this Venus is in the 3rd house and the Moon is in the 4th house, but they are still conjunct. The exception is with the Sun or the Moon when 10 degrees is allowed, this is called the orb. What this means in interpretation is that the energies are so close as to be combined and synthesized. So the Moon here is very emotional since it is in Cancer, and being conjunct Ur it is even more erratic and emotional almost an emotional roller- coaster. And it adds a slight shading to the Venus in Gemini, making the gift of easy communication more emotional and more inventive than usual.
