My Little 14 year old Drama Queen (what do i do)?

I don't know what to do with my 14yo daughter lately when ever she doesn't get what she wants she yells and says you hate me or you never listen to me and starts crying and screaming. Ex. Her friend was having a sleepover and she wanted to go i said yes only if she finishes her homework first and in the end she didn't finish her homework and she threw a tantrum and was crying hysterically. This is constant what happens if she doesn't get what she wants i am going nuts what do i do?? do i send her to her room or s/t???
