Is this our way of telling each other that "I like you"...?

I think he likes you...for me as a guy, I wouldn't say something like that to a girl for no reason, either should be a well over the limit friendly JOKE, or I have the same thing in my mind as welll....but the chances are he likes you, specially if he wasn't laughing when he said that to you.
