How can i become a music producer? where should start?

hi there.. I'm a hair stylist 26yrs now been doing hair for 7yrs ...I always had a pion about music ...because of livin I've been choosen hair....lately I find my self should do something that I always wanted do which is music..but not sure where and how to start?
