Can skylights make noise?

I had new gl skylights installed a year ago. I now have a noise that seems to be coming from one of them whenever the wind blows. Its sound like leaves hitting the house, a crackling sound. But there are no leaves or anything else. Is it possible the skylight could be making this noise?
